You see, resources are spread so evenly across the map it seems just as easy to build a new manufacturing facility near your destination as it is to set up a railway line. The only problem here is I didn’t feel enormous pressure to use them. X4 - first person sandbox set in space, not specifically a logistics tycoon but you can create your own shipping network and build factories and minesįactorio - haven't played but you build mines, collectors and factories to make increasingly complex items.
Mini motorways - as above (same devs) but with cars. Mini metro - minimalistic game where you make and expand a metro system in various cities Simutrans - haven't played but looks like a TTD cloneĬities in motion - focused on creating a public transportation network for a city Not great but not bad, bit of a slower pace too Voxel tycoon - similar to open TTD but voxel based. Railroad tycoon series - obviously focused on trains only Infraspace - still in development and futuristic themed Titans of industry - more about production chains but has a transport element Transport fever - similar to open TTD but with modern 3D graphics. Disclaimer: Not all of them are tycoon games but for me they have a logistics/transport element which goes towards giving me that open TTD feeling These types of games are my jam so I'll pass on a few options.
